Laughing for a good cause at town pub
A PUB in Hinckley is organising a comedy night in aid of a cancer charity.
Four acts will be entertaining the crowd at Broood at the Prince of Wales in Coventry Road, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Headlining the acts will be Scott Bennett, with other performances by Thomas Rackham, Lucy Thompson and Matt Hollins.
The event is happening in a function room in the pub and will be hosted by Alex Hylton.
There will also be a raffle on the night, with prizes including vouchers for Steamin’ Billy and for the Golden Spoon Thai restaurant, both of which also have outlets on Coventry Road.
A wash and blow dry in the Beauty Lounge is also among the prizes to be won.
Tickets are £7.50 in advance and £8.50 on the door.
The laughs begin at 7.30pm on July 29.
