Collections will help kids

CHRISTIAN Aid in Broughton Astley raised more than £2,000.

The house-to-house collections raised £2,360, which will go towards feeding impoverished children in poor countries and providing them with an education for their future.

Some 45 volunteers helped collect the funds, with many from Sutton in the Elms Baptist Church and some from St Mary’s Church in Broughton Astley helping out.

Non churchgoers were also among the volunteers.
