Town estate agent gets top honour
A HINCKLEY businesswoman has been appointed as the national head of a leading lettings industry body.
Sally Lawson, chief executive and founder of Concentric Sales and Lettings in Hinckley is the new president of ARLA Propertymark (Association of Residential Letting Agents) for the coming 12 months.
ARLA Propertymark protects and guides consumers, helping tenants and landlords to find and manage their properties.
With more than 9,000 letting agents who are ARLA Propertymark members, Sally’s responsibilities will include, working to raise professional standards, promoting education and qualifications and raising awareness of the sector among consumers.
As a well-known figure within the lettings industry, Sally will also sit on the board of Propertymark responsible for the decisions of the company, as well as chairing the ARLA divisional board.
She set up Concentric in 2010 and this is now a national franchise.
