Brush up on your golfing

ASPIRING golfers can practise their shots at Hinckley Golf Club.

The club in Leicester Road is holding summer camps, open to all abilities.

There will be games and competitions for the amateur golfers to practise using woods and irons, and chipping and putting, with prizes on offer for the best players.

Equipment is provided, as well as drinks and snacks.

There is no dress code, although trainers are advised.

The HGC Junior Academy is running on Wednesday July 26, as well as August 2, 9, 16 and 23.

Each session runs from 9am to 12pm.

Members and non members are welcome to attend.

Girls sessions are running on Tuesdays July 25, August 8 and 15, each from noon to 3pm.

Spaces on the events are £15.
