AN INSPIRATIONAL woman from Hinckley has turned her life around by losing a whopping five and a half stone.

Emma Hann, 41. from Trinity Vicarage, reached her goal weight after shedding the pounds thanks to Weight Watchers, and is now even training to be a fitness instructor.

The team manager started to pile on weight after having to give up her dancing career due to an injury.

Soon afterwards, she began to eat out of comfort and boredom.

She said: “I spent my entire adult life being the fat friend and standing at the back of photos so nobody could see me.”

“I can’t even describe how amazing I feel now I’m at my goal weight.

“My entire life has changed and I’m now in the middle of training to be a fitness instructor specialising in sh’bam, which is something I never thought I’d be able to do.

“I feel that I’m the happiest I’ve ever been.”

Emma decided to join Weight Watchers after her GP advised her that if her BMI increased by one point, she could put her forward for a gastric band.

Deciding enough was enough, she found a Weight Watchers meeting online.

She signed up before she could change her mind.

She also decided to take up exercise once more, finding new ways of being active that fit in with her lifestyle.

She added: “I feel amazing, look great and can buy all of the clothes I want without having to cover myself up in big, baggy sacks.

“In essence Weight Watchers hasn’t just given me my life back, it’s given me a new life I never even dreamt of.”

Having realised the importance of a healthy and balanced diet, Emma’s favourite part of the plan was being able to enjoy the food that she loves but make also being able to make clever changes to dishes so that they are healthy.
