Summer fun at Twycross
TWYCROSS Zoo has a range of family activities going on over the summer holidays.
Young children and teenagers can learn about conservation and have fun at summer clubs, and get handson with creepy crawlies.
The Wet ‘n’ Wild play area will be open over the course of the season, providing youngsters a place to cool down near the penguin pen.
Claire Oldham, director of discovery and learning, said: “There’s so much fun for all ages; not just in the day time, but also on a number of evenings throughout the summer.”
There’s also a number of babies for visitors to see, including snow leopard twins, two Bornean orangutans and a Northern whitecheeked gibbon. Events schedule: Summer Zoo Club, for ages eight to 14 - July 24 to September 1, 9am to 4.30pm, with wrap around care extending from 8.30am to 5.30pm
