Round the rinks: Recent results from bowls matches across Hinckley
ALL that was well did not end well for the trio Kingscroft bowler Roy Shakespeare was in at home to Goodwood.
Roy along with Derek Heath guested for the visitors on their own Earl Shilton green and led 13-6 at the break.
But the adage “it all changes after tea” was never truer as dropping five shots at the restart was the beginning of a major turnround that saw home trio Charlie Hill, David Hobbs and Malcolm Bates win 25-15, the only reply being a two on the last end.
