Plus winner gets a silver pet paw charm courtesy of Katy Kew of Smallprint

HAVE YOU got a perfect pooch, cute cat, beautiful bunny or an amazing arachnid?

Why not enter them into our fabulous competition Pet Idol 2017.

And just to make it even more worthwhile, the winning owner will get a cheque for £100.

Furthermore, Katy Kew of Smallprint is offering the winner a silver pet paw charm.

A local mum of three from Burbage, Katy has been creating handcrafted keepsakes for more than nine years which feature your loved ones fingerprints, hand, foot or paw prints, pictures or writing in fine silver in items such as keyrings, cufflinks, pendants and Pandora style charms.

Katy said: “It’s very easy to get an item made. I take the prints for you at local events or venues where I also have samples on display so I can get the best result for you and you can have a look at the real thing too!

“Items start from just £50 and can take up to four weeks to complete.”

Check out the Facebook page Smallprint South Leicestershire, or website www.smallprint.co.uk or contact Katy on 07703 276975 for any queries or to sort a beautiful keepsake of your loved one!

To enter, all you need to do is send in a picture of your pet to The Hinckley Times.

Please include the pet’s name as well as your own name, address, daytime contact number and email address.

We will then compile all the entries and they will appear in a special sup- plement in October.

Our readers will then get to vote who is Pet Idol 2017.

Editor Simon Holden said: “Last year’s Pet Idol was fantastic and produced hundreds of really cute pictures.

“The people of Hinckley really love their pets and I am sure there will be an even bigger entry this year.

“And don’t forget, it will be our readers who will decide who will get the cheque for £100 and the glory of being Pet Idol 2017.

“The competition is not just open to cute cats and dogs, any pets can be entered.

“It would be great to see some more unusual creatures featuring in the contest.

“Last year we even had snakes and a horse entered a previous contest .”

Entering your pet could not be simpler, just email pictures to us before the competition closes.

Closing date for submissions is midnight on Friday September 29 2017.

Please email your entries to hinckleytimes@trinitymirror.com including Pet Idol 2017 in the title.

Please include the pet’s name, your name and your contact details as well.

The voting form will appear in the paper at the same time as all of the entries.
