Tribute acts perform at charity night

-

A TRIBUTE night is happening at Bruntingthorpe Aerodrome and Proving Ground.

Queen and Rod Stewart tribute bands will be in action, alongside Britain’s newest hatchback, at the FiestaFest Night of Tributes.

Flash will be reviving Queen for the night, with Scott Maley impersonating Freddie Mercury, while Rod Stuart will take on Sir Rod Stewart’s repertoire.

Event sponsor Sandicliffe will be presenting numerous examples of the new Ford Fiesta, the 2017 model of the ever popular hatchback.

The event is being staged in the Hangar ‘42 arena and will be sponsored by Sandicliffe, one of the largest Ford dealerships and a big name in the East Midlands.

Funds will go towards Cancer Research, Wishes for Kids and Help the Heroes, as well as to the proving ground’s Bruntingthorpe Local Community Fund.

The event is happening on September 16 and tickets are £15 per person.

A bar taking cash payments, as well as food, will be available.

The charity night is happening in conjunction with On Your Marks, the annual Bruntingthorpe charity fund-raising event that is taking place on September 16 and 17 at the proving ground.

Tickets for both events can be purchased on the On Your Marks website.

Free parking is available in Hangar ‘42’s own car park, outside the main Bruntingthorpe site.
