Festival’s fifth anniversary
THE Clumber Park Festival of Food and Drink in Nottinghamshire will be returning this year on September 16 and 17.
To celebrate the festival’s fifth anniversary, celebrity chefs Phil Vickery and Rosemary Shrager will be making a special appearance alongside finalists from the last series of the BBC’s Great British Bake Off Jane Beedle and Andrew Smyth.
Clumber Park’s Food and Drink Festival is the biggest event of its kind in the region and it brings together delicious food and drink creators, artisan specialists, and food experts with over 150 exhibitors.
It will feature a food marquee with locally produced breads and cheeses, a cookery theatre with live demonstrations from the celebrity chefs throughout the day and a ‘Beautiful Things’ marquee dedicated to art, handcrafted jewellery, homeware and gifts.
Children will be able to learn new baking skills with The School of Artisan Food, make sand art and pottery, jump around on trampolines and more.
Festival organiser Bev Channel said: “We are thrilled with this year’s line-up to help us celebrate our fifth anniversary. Phil and Rosemary provide an amazing depth of knowledge and an enormous sense of fun whilst our GBBO finalists help to inspire other amateurs. It’s the perfect mix.”
The event will also count with live music from X-factor stars as well as local musicians to complement the pop-up cafes and street food traders.
Ticket prices start from just £7 in advance with free entry into Clumber Park included and children aged five years and under are admitted free. Family tickets also available.
