Fes­ti­val’s fifth an­niver­sary

THE Clum­ber Park Fes­ti­val of Food and Drink in Not­ting­hamshire will be re­turn­ing this year on Septem­ber 16 and 17.

To cel­e­brate the fes­ti­val’s fifth an­niver­sary, celebrity chefs Phil Vickery and Rose­mary Shrager will be mak­ing a spe­cial ap­pear­ance along­side fi­nal­ists from the last se­ries of the BBC’s Great Bri­tish Bake Off Jane Bee­dle and Andrew Smyth.

Clum­ber Park’s Food and Drink Fes­ti­val is the big­gest event of its kind in the re­gion and it brings to­gether de­li­cious food and drink cre­ators, ar­ti­san spe­cial­ists, and food ex­perts with over 150 ex­hibitors.

It will fea­ture a food mar­quee with lo­cally pro­duced breads and cheeses, a cook­ery theatre with live demon­stra­tions from the celebrity chefs through­out the day and a ‘Beau­ti­ful Things’ mar­quee ded­i­cated to art, hand­crafted jew­ellery, home­ware and gifts.

Chil­dren will be able to learn new bak­ing skills with The School of Ar­ti­san Food, make sand art and pot­tery, jump around on tram­po­lines and more.

Fes­ti­val or­gan­iser Bev Chan­nel said: “We are thrilled with this year’s line-up to help us cel­e­brate our fifth an­niver­sary. Phil and Rose­mary pro­vide an amaz­ing depth of knowledge and an enor­mous sense of fun whilst our GBBO fi­nal­ists help to in­spire other am­a­teurs. It’s the per­fect mix.”

The event will also count with live mu­sic from X-fac­tor stars as well as lo­cal mu­si­cians to com­ple­ment the pop-up cafes and street food traders.

Ticket prices start from just £7 in ad­vance with free en­try into Clum­ber Park in­cluded and chil­dren aged five years and un­der are ad­mit­ted free. Fam­ily tick­ets also avail­able.
