Booze to beat Brexit blues

A WINE-TASTING evening designed to “beat the Brexit blues” is being organised to raise funds for a town community centre.

St Francis Community Centre on Tudor Road, Hinckley, will host and benefit from the event to be held on Saturday September 30 at 7pm.

Centre manager Jo Boffey says it will be “an informal evening of tasting wines based on the theme Beat the Brexit Blues, with wines from Europe and around the world.”

Tickets, which cost £12, are on sale at the centre, which can be contacted on Hinckley 617185, or from the coffee bar at St Mary’s Church in Hinckley, on Hinckley 234241.
