Plans for bonfire spectacular

ORGANISERS of one of the borough’s biggest bonfire spectaculars are putting out an early shout on the itinerary.

The team at Bosworth Water Park aims this year to host one of the boldest, best and brightest Guy Fawkes celebrations ever.

The event takes place on Saturday October 28 with tickets on sale now.

There will be a fireworks display especially aimed at children from 7pm with the bonfire lighting at 7.45pm and main firework display from around 8.30pm - although timings can be fluid on the day.

A special treat for the younger visitors will be the chance to meet and greet look-alike characters from Despicable Me from 4pm.

People can arrive for the event from 3pm and free parking is provided.

Earlybirds can take advantage of advance ticket booking up to October 14 with adult prices at £6 and children over 14 at £4 with a family ticket for four people costing £18.
