Classic groups set for county festival

-

WITH the holidays drawing to a close there’s not many events left on the summer calendar.

But there’s still a couple of music festivals left for 2017 - and one of them is conveniently just down the road from Hinckley.

Septemberfest will take place at Donington Park between 22 - 24 September.

But get ready for the line-up - because it will set off a serious case of musical deja vu.

The brand new, three day music festival will include 150 acts playing over five stages - including some of our very favourite blasts from the pop past.

90s heartthrobs Five, best known for chart-topping hits including Keep On Movin, will headline the Sunday night.

Fellow boyband favourites including A1, East 17 and 911 will also perform at the festival.

Classic groups like Liberty X, S Club and Atomic Kitten are set to appear too.

Along with heaps of nostalgia, the festival will include some household names, as well as some local bands on the rise.

Indie rockers Razorlight will headline the festival on the Saturday night.

And up-and-coming acts including Josh Okeefe and Lauren Faith will be performing.

There will also be a Dance Arena featuring house and techno acts, including Leftwing & Kody, Latmun, and Hott Like Detroit.

Other stages will include the Local Music Stage, the Acoustic Lounge, and a Main Bar Stage which includes comedy acts.

Adult tickets for the festival start from £45 for a day or £100 for the weekend.
