Funding boost for training scheme

-

A BUSINESS training specialist has been awarded a €350,000 contract to develop a new learning platform.

Local training specialists, Exponential Training & Assessment, will put the funding towards a brand-new programme called Learn, Engage, Apply and Perform, or LEAP for short.

The LEAP project is sponsored by the Erasmus+ programme and involves expert partners from Austria, Cyprus, Ireland, Portugal and Greece.

The three-year project will involve over 200 learners and 100 trainers, assessors and moderators.

Exponential’s managing director, John Moore, said: “Exponential delivers qualifications in management, coaching and consulting to learners and employers not just in the UK, but across the world.

“This presents some challenges and the LEAP platform will transform our learner’s experience and performance.

“The LEAP platform will enable our team to exploit new digital learning technologies including making more use of social media tools, on-line assessment and open digital badges”.

Some of the first learners to benefit from LEAP will be students completing one of the Chartered Management Institutes Diplomas.
