Lib-Dems do all they can to block security measures

-

THE Lib-Dem peer Lord Carlile used to be the Government independent reviewer of terrorist legislation and as such is well-placed to give an understanding of the issue.

For years, he has asked, begged, and pleaded with the LibDems to stop putting concerns about political correctness, and the human rights of terrorists, above that of the security of the nation, and safety of the public, and they have consistently refused.

For example, the LibDems argue that it is a human right for a migrant who came to this country, obtained a British passport, then went off to fight for ISIS, to return to this country, and resume their life.

This is plain stupidity, and have they never heard of the Trojan horse?

Similarly, they do all they can to block measures asked for by the security services, designed to keep us safe as, they say, such measures breach human rights?

They believe in mass migration but have no policy or idea as to how they would deal with the mass influx and the undoubted effect on public services such a proposal would have? Security is not even on the agenda!

We now know that crucial legislation was blocked by the LibDems, when in coalition government, including laws relating to asbestos, until David Cameron gave in to their demands for LibDem proposals which had no public support what so ever.

They even blocked taxsaving measures until the government gave £5 million to the Cornish Language Society, which they thought would help their chances of getting MPs elected in Cornwall, thus putting their own interest before that of the country and the people!

Then to compound arrogance, David Laws, the former Lib-Dem MP, writes a book to boast about what they did, how stupid can one be?

They are no longer a party of protest, but a public liability and fantasy.

Their leader Sir Vince Cable believes that Brexit will not happen. He believes there is a good chance of him being the next Prime Minister, and if you look at the detail of what he is proposing, there is very little difference between him and Jeremy Corbyn.

They now argue for a second referendum on Brexit, so that the people may have a say, yet they did all they could to deny us any say on the EU, as it was their way or no way; what hypocrisy.

Nothing is more stupid, or arrogant, than a Lib-Dem believing that they have public opinion behind them and take note. You can’t play ball with them because once they have it, they won’t give it back!
