Kids can still audition for this year’s CBeebies Panto

TIME is running out for budding stage-stars from Hinckley to audition for this year’s CBeebies panto.

The BBC have invited children aged between seven and nine to showcase their talent to win a place on station in a musical adaptation of The Snow Queen.

Up to 10 children from across Leicestershire are needed for the show which will be performed at The Curve in Leicester in November.

As well as being per- formed to an audience of up to 900 people, the shows will be filmed for television, to be broadcast on CBeebies and BBC 1 over the Christmas period.

This opportunity is open to Leicestershire boys and girls aged between seven and nine years, who are passionate about singing and dancing.

No stage experience is necessary.

Auditions will take place on Wednesday, September 27, and children need to be available for up to two rehearsal days, on Thursday, October 19 and Saturday, October 21, and show rehearsals and performances from Thursday, November 2 to Saturday, November 4.

If your child is interested, you need to send a 30 second video showcasing their personality and singing/dancing ability to CBeebiesPanto@bbc. co.uk.

The deadline is midnight on Sunday, September 17.
