Business festive lunch date is announced

BUSINESSES in the borough can celebrate with their peers at the East Midlands Chamber annual Christmas lunch.

The date has been announced for this year’s event which will take place on Friday December 8 at the King Power Stadium, home of Leicester City FC.

The festivities start at noon with a welcome drinks reception, followed by a three-course meal with wine.

After lunch, Doug Segal, billed as “entertainment’s best-kept secret” and a “comedy mind-reader with a difference” will regale guests with “feats of mental illusionism” mixed with stand-up comedy.

A charity raffle, with a range of fabulous prizes, will be held on the day with the proceeds going to the East Midlands Chamber Charitable Fund.

Chamber chief executive Scott Knowles said: “The relaxed atmosphere at the Christmas lunch provides a great environment to entertain clients and guests, with plenty of opportunities to ‘work the room’ during the afternoon. With key business contacts from across the whole region, all in one place, the annual Christmas lunch kick-starts the Christmas season in Leicestershire for many businesses.”

Tickets to the annual lunch cost only £58+VAT for chamber members or you can book at table of 10 for £550+VAT. Non-member tickets are £78+VAT or £750+VAT for a table of 10.
