October 2-7
The Tinhatters perform Gypsy at the Concordia. Gypsy tells the tale of Momma Rose and her two daughters Baby June and Louise, trekking across America in their family vaudeville act.
October 12-14
The Opera Project performed by Stanley Opera. Sister Angelica (a stunning little tragedy) and Gianni Schicchi (a wicked little comedy) Take your pick. A choice of performances offering you the chance to see two of Puccini’s marvellous one-act operas performed as a double bill or performed individually with an hour of great new concert music.
October 25-28
The Great Gatsby is being performed at the Concordia by the Broughton Astley Drama Society. The glittering decadence of America’s Jazz Age is brought to life in this stage adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s masterpiece. Seen through the eyes of Nick Carraway, the story recreates the sights, sounds and feel of America’s ‘Roaring Twenties’ in a brilliant evocation of a society obsessed with wealth and status.
November 4 and 5
The Actress is a New Theatre Players Studio production. A funny and poignant new comedy, by Peter Quilter. The Actress dramatises the events backstage as a colourful, complicated woman makes her farewell performance, while dealing with the unexpected arrival of her infuriating ex-husband.
November 7-18
The Concordia AOS performs Irving Berlin’s White Christmas. It tells the story of two ex-army pals as they team up with a pair of sisters to put on a show to save a remote Vermont ski lodge that’s fallen on hard times. Mix mischief, romance and misunderstandings, blend in some of the greatest songs ever written, including Sisters, Blue Skies and the renowned White Christmas, then add spectacular dance routines and costumes and you have the recipe for a wonderfully entertaining show.

Beyond Faith - The George Michael Tribute Concert Celebrating the musical legend George Michael in a spellbinding spectacle of his songs. This year marks 30 years since his album FAITH launched his solo career.
December 5 -9
New Theatre Players perform It’s A Wonderful Life. The iconic story of idealist George Bailey, whose dreams look set to be dashed by small-town scandal and big business.
