Have say on the future of Burbage’s development
THE Burbage Neighbourhood Plan Group has launched its draft of the Burbage Neighbourhood Plan for public consultation for those persons who live or conduct business within the parish of Burbage.
The Plan represents months of investigation, research and information-gathering in which a small band of volunteers (with some professional help) sought to establish the optimum future shape and development of the parish.
Topics addressed within the Plan cover future housing development, heritage, transport, highways and business and employment.
The wish list was established following several consultations, to ensure the draft Plan engages the community’s right to engage in neighbourhood planning.
The final feedback process will last a statutory period of sixweeks starting from Monday 9th October and ending 20th November.
Parishioners can view a copy of the Plan by visiting http@//www.burbage-council.co.uk if you have internet access.
If not, then a hard copy is available to view at the Parish Office, Britannia Road, Monday – Friday between the hours of 09.00 – 12.00.
A Pre-submission Comments Form is available for public responses, which can be downloaded from the Parish Council’s website or a paper copy collected from the Parish Office.
Viewing of the Plan can also be accessed by viewing the Groups’ website www.plan4burbage. co.uk
How to return completed forms is detailed on the Presubmission Comments Form.
Forms must returned by November.
This will be the last time that the Burbage Neighbourhood Plan Group will be asking the public for their comments.
All comments received will be considered by the team and may be utilised to amend the Plan before it is submitted for final approval. be 20th
