Caring facade demeans justice
WE have become a secular society following a humanist agenda, which means that all sob stories are true, all grievances justified, and all must be treated with equality, regardless of the right or wrongs.
Even when accusers’ are found to have made malicious allegations that have ruined lives or caused injustice, the authorities are loathed to take any action against them; for example:
Early on in the year, I switched on the TV to watch Central news, and found the top story to be about this who was vociferously fighting a housing development being built next to a cemetery where his late parents’ were buried.
He was arguing that the houses were blocking the view of the countryside, that his deceased parents had, and that the parish council had failed to take that into account, and therefore had not followed legal procedure?
The parish council had to spend money it could ill-afford to employ a barrister to defend themselves against his accusations.
Central news depicted him as a victim of bureaucracy, when in fact he was a nutter, who should have been told to go away with this non-story!
Then we have the case of the convicted rapist who declared himself to be transgender and, on appeal, won the right of transfer to a womens’ prison where he has been repeatedly found to be having sex with the women.
The prison service has been stopped from taking action, as to do so would be an act of discrimination against a “transgender”?
All this is no more than a sham show, as we try to show the world how good and understanding we are, to each other.
The reality is a whole load of wrongs, some of which are positively evil, are going on and being allowed under the charade of being nice!
We need to remember the road to hell is paved with good intention, and people who try to hold fast to a rationale of logic and real decency, are being castigated as being uncaring.
To allow this nonsense to continue does not help the real injustice in our world, in fact it demeans it, and in our pursuit of being an all-inclusive country, we are marginalising the very people we need and who are the true carers of society, as opposed to the façade of hypocrisy.
