October 25-28
The Great Gatsby is being performed at the Concordia by the Broughton Astley Drama Society. The glittering decadence of America’s Jazz Age is brought to life in this stage adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s masterpiece. Seen through the eyes of Nick Carraway, the story recreates the sights, sounds and feel of America’s ‘Roaring Twenties’ in a brilliant evocation of a society obsessed with wealth and status.
November 4 and 5
The Actress is a New Theatre Players Studio production. A funny and poignant new comedy, by Peter Quilter. The Actress dramatises the events backstage as a colourful, complicated woman makes her farewell performance, while dealing with the unexpected arrival of her infuriating ex-husband.
November 7-18
The Concordia AOS performs Irving Berlin’s White Christmas. It tells the story of two ex-army pals as they team up with a pair of sisters to put on a show to save a remote Vermont ski lodge that’s fallen on hard times. Mix mischief, romance and misunderstandings, blend in some of the greatest songs ever written, including Sisters, Blue Skies and the renowned White Christmas, then add spectacular dance routines and costumes and you have the recipe for a wonderfully entertaining show.

Beyond Faith - The George Michael Tribute Concert Celebrating the musical legend George Michael in a spellbinding spectacle of his songs. This year marks 30 years since his album FAITH launched his solo career.
December 5-9
New Theatre Players perform It’s A Wonderful Life. The iconic story of idealist George Bailey, whose dreams look set to be dashed by small-town scandal and big business.

Ballet Theatre UK perform The Nutcracker.

Eric Darlington with the John Cleveland Band. A fabulous evening by this popular Concert Band.
January 10 - February 3 2018
The Pantomime Company presents Robinson Crusoe and the Pirates of the Pacific. It will be 20 years since the company last told the tale of Robinson Crusoe – this new production will have a distinctly South American feel as the show is based in Old Brazil! The production will feature all the usual fun and spectacle associated with pantomimes at the Concordia – a treat for all the family!
