Chamber members can call on expert help

-

BUSINESSES are being urged to think about joining forces with regional lobbyists to take advantage of trusted advice services.

Members of the East Midlands Chamber can call on experts in human resources, legal matters, health and safety and tax and VAT thanks to a partnership with Leicestershire service contractor Qdos.

Each of these four separate services include a free helpline and a combined bank of more than 700 downloadable documents and templates.

Wrapped around this, and also included in Chamber membership subscription, is legal expenses insurance with a limit of £1 million and no excess.

If a business employing 60 people were to source this package of services directly from the many providers in the market, they could expect to pay about £1,200 a year. That same business would pay a Chamber membership fee of less than £500.

David Pearson, the Chamber’s director of partnerships and membership services, said: “Without wishing problems on any members, we hope businesses will make use of these great new services, especially the downloadable documents and templates, access to which will be by way of codes issued by Qdos or by talking to account managers at the Chamber.

“Qdos is a renowned and trusted locallybased organisation that will, in partnership with the Chamber, add significant value and peace of mind to members on a whole raft of important issues that can, and do, affect businesses of all shapes and sizes.”
