Ibiza rave night to take place in stately home next year

-

A STATELY home in Warwickshire is set to host a Classic Ibiza rave night – and it will feature an orchestra.

Classic Ibiza with Ministry of Sound is transforming Ragley Hall into an alfresco nightclub complete with lasers.

It will see the Urban Soul Orchestra and DJ Goldierocks perform some of the biggest dance tracks from the last 20 years.

And it will happen in the summer so people can chill out with picnics and drinks whilst the sun sets before dancing the night away to tracks from the likes of Groove Armada, Darude, Fat Boy Slim, Faithless and Underworld.

The event is happening at the Alcester stately home on Saturday, July 7.

Early bird tickets are available now at a reduced price of £35 (£39.50 thereafter).

“There’s something really special about the combination of a beautiful stately home setting and music that gets absolutely everyone on their feet – I know that the Ragley crowd will absolutely love Classic Ibiza!” said Lisa Ward of Revival Productions.

Classic Ibiza concerts were held in stately homes across the UK last summer and proved to be very popular.

And Urban Soul Orchestra has worked alongside Nightmares On Wax, Groove Armada, Ultra Naté, Octave One, Full Intention, Soul II Soul, Robert Miles, Sonique and Spiller.

Stephen Hussey, conductor and founder of USO, said: “If this year’s concerts are anything to go by, Ragley is in for a real treat next summer.

“Classic Ibiza is a heady mix of iconic dance tunes, a classical orchestra and a music festival in a stunning setting.

“Whether you want to sit back and relax with a glass of bubbly over a picnic in the evening sun, or get up and dance the night away, everyone is guaranteed a great time.”

The concert is expected to sell-out in advance.

Gates will open at 6pm and you can take your own picnic, or take advantage of the food outlets onsite. Car parking is free too.
