Wrestling show for Christmas

-

FIGHTERS will be getting airborne at the Christmas Special Show of Wrestling in Hinckley.

The show at the former Greene King stadium on Leicester Road will feature a Royal Rumble match, when 20 wrestlers battle to throw each other over the top rope and win a huge cash prize.

A new competitor enters the ring each 60 seconds until all 20 athletes are in the fray, and the last one standing will be crowned the winner.

The main event will feature Killian Jacobs against The Judge, who has reigned as champion since August 2016.

Anticipation has been building since February 2017, when both competitors made clear their intention to take home the Warwickshire and Leicestershire championship.

Surprise entrants have been added to this year’s Rumble, including some of Hinckley’s homegrown talents.

Punk King Tony Russell is taking on ‘The Enemy’ Kieran Young, also competing for a place in the Rumble.

Joey Scott is facing off against the masked debut fighter White Tiger, to decide who will be the final entrant into the Rumble match.

Tomas James Sky is also taking on ‘The Entrepreneur’ Christopher Drew, in their third encounter.

The event is on Sunday December 10, with doors opening at 2.30pm and the show starting at 3pm, and the show expected to last two and a half hours.

Advance tickets are available by calling 07432 158175 or on the Wrestling in Hinckley website.

Discounts on all advance standard tickets are available and on a limited number of ringside seats.

There are further discounts on offer for Cineworld Unlimited and Green Towers members.
