Patriot Girls to perform on New Year’s Eve
WEST End trio The Patriot Girls are set to appear this New Year’s Eve in an exclusive, intimate performance at Pesto at the Axe and Compass.
The vocal group, who have each appeared at the Royal Variety Performance in front of Prince Charles and the Queen, have said that they are incredibly excited to be bringing their unique show to Pesto at Five Ways, Wolvey,, especially as this will be one of their most intimate gigs.
With past events including a performance with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at Leeds Castle in front of an audience of around 15,000 and the D-Day 70th anniversary Commemorative Concert last year with a crowd of 10,000, the West End Stars are looking forward to performing in such a cosy setting.
Singer Jo Gibb explains:“Events like this in such an intimate setting are fantastic as we really get to engage with the audience and it makes the event a much more personal experience. We’re all very excited about performing at Pesto as this is sure to be a night to remember.”
All three singers within the group have played lead roles on the West End including Fantine in Les Miserables, Sandy in Grease and Roxie Hart in Chicago and they will be bringing some of this West End magic to their perfor- mance on the night.
Jo adds: We’ll be singing a range of songs on the night from popular musicals like Mamma Mia and Les Miserables through to boogiewoogie favourites and even some opera classics.”
For just £65 per ticket, diners will be treated to a fabulous Pesto dinner, their table for the evening and delectable entertainment, resulting in a unique performance that’ll help make for a wonderful end of the year and start of a new year.
Tickets must be booked in advance. Please call Pesto at The Axe and Compass, Five Ways, Wolvey, LE10 3HG, on Hinckley 220240 for more information and to book.
