The Pantomime Company presents Robinson Crusoe and the Pirates of the Pacific. It will be twenty years since the company last told the tale of Robinson Crusoe – this new production will have a distinctly South American feel as the show is based in Old Brazil! The production will feature all the usual fun and spectacle associated with pantomimes at the Concordia.

Feb 19 to 24

Community Guild are performing Mack and Mabel. Based on the real-life romance between legendary filmmaker Mack Sennett and his rising star Mabel Normand, it tells the story of Hollywood’s golden age, where the fun of the silent screen was dominated by the hysterical chaos of the Keystone Kops and the glamour of the bathing beauties.

March 6-10

New Theatre Players perform the Vicar of Dibley. Four episodes – The Window and the Weather – A fierce storm blows out the main stained-glass window at St Barnabas Church; Dibley Lives – Geraldine presents a “Brain of Dibley” competitio­n while Radio Dibley is on the air live; Celebrity Vicar – Geraldine becomes a celebrity after an appearance on the “Pause for Thought” television show; Love and Marriage – Geraldine prepares for Alice and Hugo’s wedding then meets a dashing man of her own.

March 19-24

The Tinhatters are to perform 9 to 5 The Musical. Based on the 1980s movie of the same name, 9 to 5 takes the audience back to the 1970s in this hilarious new musical comedy that centres on three office workers Violet, Dora Lee and Judy who turn the tables on their sexist boss. Outrageous, thought provoking and even a little romantic, 9 to 5: The Musical is about teaming up and taking care of business. Featuring original numbers from Dolly Parton.

Matt Ford’s salute to Frank Sinatra and the Swing Legends.

April 13-21

Stanley Opera perform Cinderella. They bring the most romantic story of them all to the Concordia with the Hinckley premiere of Rossini’s gorgeous La Cenerentol­a (Cinderella). The perfect show for the whole family.

April 26-28

Wendy Morton Academy of Dance perform To Dance is to Live, to Live is to Dance.

May 8-19

Concordia Amateur Operatic Society perform Anything Goes. Music, dance, laughs, and the age-old tale of Boy Meets Girl– no musical puts it on stage better than Anything Goes! A hilarious shipboard romp, wrapped around one of Cole Porter’s most magical scores, Anything Goes is delightful, delicious, and de-Lovely.
