The restaurant-pub is owned by NewRiver property trust, which also owns The Woolcomber in Atkins Way, Burbage.

Agents say: “This local community pub has an excellent food trade and is a cosy pub suitable for all occasions.

“It attracts a wide customer base for both its food and drink as well as boasting loyal regular custom. The day round offers are popular and will be key to the ongoing success of the site.

“The site would be best suited to a truly community minded operator and it would be advantageous if they had some catering experience.

“Being able to make the most of the day round trade and clever marketing of the function space will ensure that trade continues to grow.”

The Holywell Inn was also saved from being bulldozed and turned into homes in 2016.
