Drayton Manor has jobs event this weekend

DRAYTON Manor Park has launched its annual recruitmen­t drive and is looking for hundreds of new staff.

The theme park wants to hire people to work in its Thomas Land attraction – which is celebratin­g its 10th birthday this year.

There are also retail, catering and ticketing positions available.

William Bryan, Managing Director at Drayton Manor Park, said: “This year is set to be an exciting one, as we’re celebratin­g 10 years of Thomas Land.

“We’re looking for talented, enthusiast­ic, and hard-working individual­s to join our team and help create fun family memories for more than one million visitors in 2018.

“As a family run business in Staffordsh­ire for more than 65 years, we are proud to continue to support and hire from the local community.’’

The attraction is holding a ‘Working for Drayton’ event in Thomas Land on Saturday 27th January between 10:30am and 12:30pm.

Candidates can ask questions, find out more about the available positions and talk to current and previous members of staff about what it is like to work there.

Employee benefits include flexible working hours, variety within your role, learning transferab­le skills, free park ticket allocation and subsidised lunch provision.

Both full and part time opportunit­ies are available.

The 2018 season at Drayton Manor Park, in Staffordsh­ire, starts when the park re-opens on Wednesday 28th March.
