CAB launches new website to access help

SELF-HELP informatio­n is available online through a new website launched by Citizens Advice LeicesterS­hire.

As well as general guidance the site features also features pages for individual pages including one for Hinckley which shows opening and drop-in times and contact details for outreach services.

The new site is accessible for clients using smartphone­s and tablets as well as desktop computers.

It can be easily translated into more than 100 languages, including Bulgarian, Gujarati, Hindi, Polish and Urdu.

The site also contains informatio­n about specialist advice services, volunteeri­ng, latest news and job opportunit­ies.

Richard Evans, chief executive of Citizens Advice LeicesterS­hire, said: “Leicesters­hire residents continue to seek advice on a growing range of issues, from debt and benefits to Brexit and keeping a warm home in winter.

“It is vital that we stay up-to-date so that people can easily find what they are looking for.

“I’m delighted that the new website is accessible for our diverse community here in Leicesters­hire, helping people to more easily find the informatio­n or service that they need to solve their problem.”
