CAB launches new website to access help
SELF-HELP information is available online through a new website launched by Citizens Advice LeicesterShire.
As well as general guidance the site features also features pages for individual pages including one for Hinckley which shows opening and drop-in times and contact details for outreach services.
The new site is accessible for clients using smartphones and tablets as well as desktop computers.
It can be easily translated into more than 100 languages, including Bulgarian, Gujarati, Hindi, Polish and Urdu.
The site also contains information about specialist advice services, volunteering, latest news and job opportunities.
Richard Evans, chief executive of Citizens Advice LeicesterShire, said: “Leicestershire residents continue to seek advice on a growing range of issues, from debt and benefits to Brexit and keeping a warm home in winter.
“It is vital that we stay up-to-date so that people can easily find what they are looking for.
“I’m delighted that the new website is accessible for our diverse community here in Leicestershire, helping people to more easily find the information or service that they need to solve their problem.”
