A FAMILY-RUN estate agents has posted outstanding results from its 2017 enterprises.

Alexanders, which has branches in Market Bosworth, Ashby-de-laZouch, Loughborough and most recently Shepshed, sold £50 million worth of property throughout the East Midlands last year.

The independent firm also recorded a whopping £18 million of sales in new build properties, including sites in Barton in the Beans and the sophisticated Cadeby Court development, a selection of nine individual four and five bedroom properties.

The homes, the most expensive of which comes with a price tag of £950,000, are arranged courtyard style on a 2.8 acre site most recently used as an architectural salvage yard by businessman George Denny, owner of Hinckley pub The Bounty and the George ballroom.

Most of the plots have already been snapped up.

Tom Smith, senior partner at Alexanders said: “Looking forward to 2018 is very exciting for Alexanders.

“We enter our first full year of operation for our offices in Ashby and Shepshed, and the introduction of our lettings division in 2017 has exceeded all expectations.

“As a company we have rapidly earned our reputation throughout Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Warwickshire as respected property professionals.

“Our ethos is to be honest, hard-working, communicative, and to work with integrity for our clients.”

Further expansion is planned throughout 2018 to include links with local solicitors and financial planners to make buying and selling easier for clients.

The company has also been selected as a member of The Guild of Property Professionals on Park Lane, Mayfair for their offices in Market Bosworth and Ashby-de-la-Zouch, a link that will continue to strengthen nationwide coverage and help connect client’s properties to the London market.
