Pop-up Peaky Blinders bar hits in March

-

CULT 1920s TV crime drama Peaky Blinders might be set in Birmingham but a special fan event is heading to Leicestershire.

For two nights only, a secret venue in Leicester city centre will be transformed into a Peaky Blinders popup bar.

The ticket only immersive experience will treat guests to a true two-hour recreation of the show, complete with its notorious protagonists, the Shelby brothers.

Patrons may even see a few scenes from the hit series being acted out - although attendance by Cillian Murphy and counterparts is sadly not expected.

As you’d expect from a speakeasy, there will be a secret door from the street, which guests will need to knock on in order to gain access.

There will be live music from a traditional 1920s jazz and swing band and dancing, to enjoy.

Plus, you’ll be able to treat yourself to themed drinks, such as Peaky Blinders ale, whisky, rum and gin, and cocktails created especially for the night.

Speakeasy Blinders is being opened by two Leicester business partners, who love the show and are keen to bring the Peaky Blinders experience to life.

The nights will be divided into two hour sessions, and you’ll be able to choose your preferred session when you book.

The venue will be revealed to ticket holders a week before the event.

Tickets, starting from £10, are on sale now.

Information on how and where to purchase tickets will be revealed on the event’s Facebook and Instagram pages.

There is very limited availability for this event, so don’t miss out - by order of the Peaky Blinders.
