BBC Big Weekend, May 27
& 28, Coventry Snow Patrol will headline this festival alongside the legendary Billy Ocean and UB40.
The festival will be held in the War Memorial Park on Sunday, May 27 and Monday May 28 – the end of the Spring Bank Holiday.
BBC Music, Radio 2 and Radio 3 join forces to bring two days of spectacular performances to War Memorial Park.

The Private Collection Tour celebrates Marti’s 30 years in the industry, from the Wet Wet Wet days to his solo stuff.
Back to the 1980s June 16, Ricoh Arena Then on Saturday, June 16, an 80s extravaganza of music will be also be hitting the Ricoh.
Billy Ocean, Howard Jones, Five Star, Roland Gift – Fine Young Cannibals and The Blow Monkeys and Alexander O’Neal will be smashing out the hits.
Steps, June 24 Coventry Pop band Steps will also be making their way to Coventry on Sunday, June 24.
As part of their 20th Anniversary celebrations, they announced a huge summer outdoor tour – Summer of Steps – which will see them perform at outdoor venues all over the UK, including a perfor- mance at Butts Park Arena.
They will be joined by Aqua and hit boyband Blue for their performance.
Simple Minds, August 18
Coventry Also performing at Butts Park Arena on Saturday, August 18, will be Simple Minds, The Pretenders and KT Tunstall.
Appearing on stage together for the first time since Live Aid, in 1985, the gig promises to be historic, with a huge catalogue of smash hits between them.

And for the 90s kids around town, a mammoth gig to celebrate the pop music of 1990s will also be held at the Ricoh Arena on October 13 featuring Peter Andre, 5IVE, East 17, Booty Luv and Big Brovaz.
