Music venue revamp at Fargo
FARGO Village could be getting its music venue completely revamped.
The Box at Fargo, in Coventry, is currently a multi-purpose arts venue and events space. It can be booked for exhibitions, live performances and corporate events, but it currently isn’t operating at its full potential.
So the people behind the scenes at Fargo have run a consultation on what should be there next.
Jo Truslove, Marketing Manager at FarGo Village said: “We plan to make better use of The Box by installing new acoustics, staging, lighting and other facilities so it can be enjoyed by everyone for a variety of live events.
“It’s important when investing that we create something that people will use on a regular basis, by completing our consultation survey you are feeding into the overall plan for the project and helping us to develop a venue that offers a relevant and excit- ing programme for all ages to enjoy and participate in.”
There won’t be a complete new venue being built as well as The Box, but a total revamp of the current venue.
The consultation asked people how they would use it, what they would like to see there and what sort of activities that people would get involved in.
There were 254 responses but analysis has yet to be done on what people want.
