New place opens in Crescent
A HINCKLEY-based lettings agency has teamed up with a mortgage advice firm to open a new flagship office at The Crescent.
Belvoir, who call themselves the lettings specialists, have joined forces with the Mortgage Advice Bureau, previously based on Castle Street, to open up the new ‘one-stop shop’ in the shopping complex.
The new service will open its doors on Friday (March 2), with the ribbon set to be cut by TV’s Paul Shamplina, star of the Nightmare Tenant Slum Landlord programme.
Under the new service, customers will be offered support in lettings, sales and in finding a mortgage. There will also be a maintenance department, makeovers of properties and property maintenance plans.
Clayton Foston, director at Belvoir, said: “We are moving because we want to be away from all of the other agents for differentiation and we want high visibility so that vendors and landlords know where we are when the inevitable shake up occurs in the industry when the fees ban kicks in 2019 and smaller agents are forced to close.”
Meanwhile, Steve Tempest, MAB Hinckley’s director, added: “We are excited to be part of a fantastic new location in town, with superb facilities, and investment in technology to offer the very best customer experience. Belvoir have outgrown their existing office through dedication and hard work, so I’m delighted to be joining them in their amazing new office.
“Working alongside Belvoir we have helped many landlords grow their portfolios, many of which bought their first property after attending one of our very successful property workshops. As a portfolio landlord myself, I understand the needs of landlords and can use this experience to guide landlords both new and old through the very complex mortgage market.
“With Belvoir’s knowledge of the local area we can combine to offer any landlord the very best in guiding them on their property journey.”
