Company looking to take on 20 members of staff
A NATIONAL flooring company is looking to recruit 20 extra staff after moving its headquarters to Hinckley - with 50 more new roles to follow.
UK Flooring Direct, which already employs 82 staff, relocated from the Bayton Road Industrial Estate in Bedworth to Logix Road on the Hinckley Commercial Park late last year, with bosses keen to expand.
The company, established by Jason Ashby in Nuneaton in 2005 before the move to Bedworth in 2010, sells a range of flooring including real wood, laminate and vinyl via its website www.ukflooringdirect.co.uk and also has a showroom for local trade and retail customers at the new Hinckley HQ.
The firm is forecasting hitting £100 million turnover in the next four years as its reach now extends to the whole of the UK - as well as into Europe.
There are a number of positions up for grabs from telesales and marketing staff through to project managers and customer services.
The aim is to push through the 100 employee mark before reaching around 150 in the coming years.
As well as the move to bigger premises, the company has invested in major technology and systems upgrades as it targets significant growth.
Jason said the family company was proud to play its part in providing local employment and also in giving back to the community.
He said: “We are on course to keep growing as a company and we needed to make this move to Hinckley because we required more space.
“We are very much a family company and we do our best to make sure that this is a great place to come to work - in fact, it’s something that we pride ourselves on.
“At this stage, we are looking for around 20 new staff - particularly in telesales - and that is likely to keep growing as the business expands.
