Developer picks charity

AN EAST Midlands based housebuilder has chosen the Alzheimer’s Society as its charity of the year for 2018.

David Wilson Homes, responsible for a number of developments in and around the borough including The Spinney in Burbage and New Lubbesthorpe, will raise funds for the cause through dress down days and other events.

Now the charity has been announced staff based at the Bardon headquarters will begin to plan activities, including a Bardon to Bordeaux cycle and a 1,000 mile walk challenge.
