Attempted theft at farm of diesel

A WOULD-BE diesel thief may be targeting farms near Market Bosworth.

Police said an attempted thief broke into a farm and tried to access a diesel bouser on the evening of March 15, only to abandon their attempt.

Market Bosworth Police said on its Facebook page: “Entry to land by cutting metal gate mechanism, farm machinery used to push vehicle out of the way to get to diesel bouser.

“Local land owners please be aware. Unsuccessful with theft so may still try elsewhere.”
