Prize on offer for pickers

LITTER pickers could bag themselves a £10 gift voucher at a Hinckley pub by taking part in a spring clean.

Held in conjunction with the Sketchley Corridor Improvement Partnership (SCIP), The Railway is encouraging punters to take part in a series of litter picks with a prize offer.

Those joining the #GBSpringClean to help tidy the Sketchley Valley will enter a draw to win a £10 gift voucher.

Picks take place on Friday (March 23) from 10am, Saturday from 12 noon and Sunday from 11am.

Pickers will meet at Brookside Basin of Brookside in Burbage.

All equipment will be supplied however volunteers are urged to wear appropriate clothing.

One picker will be selected at random to win the £10 voucher which can be spent at Steamin Billy’s The Railway on Station Road.
