Half-term fun at Conkers

THERE’S fun for all of the family at Conkers during the Whitsun half-term holidays from 26 May to 3 June 2018.

As well as 120 acres of indoor and outdoor play, the Conkerchoo train and 4D cinema, the award-winning visitor attraction will also be hosting daily live shows and entertainm­ent, plus ranger activities and daily arts and crafts.

Conkers is located at the heart of The National Forest in Leicesters­hire.

During the Whit Week half-term holidays, it will be running a programme of entertainm­ent including:

Saturday 26 May – Punch & Judy at 11.30am, 1.30pm & 3.30pm

Sunday 27 May – Punch & Judy at 11.30am, 1.30pm & 3.30pm

Monday 28 May – Musical Adventures at 11.30am, 1.30pm & 3.30pm and Lollipop Ponies from 12 noon to 3pm

Tuesday 29 May – Flip’s Clown Show at 12.00pm, 3.30pm

Wednesday 30 May – Sublime Science at 11.30am & 2.30pm

Thursday 31 May – Stuart Brown’s Magic Show at 11.30am, 1.30pm & 3.30pm

Friday 1 June – Trevor Hill’s Animal Encounter from 12 noon to 4pm

Saturday 2 June – Musical Adventures at 11.15am, 12.15pm, 1.15pm & 2.15pm

Sunday 3 June – Stuart Brown’s Magic Show at 11.30am, 1.30pm & 3.30pm

There will also be daily craft activities from 11am to 5pm, Story Time in the Storytelle­r’s Hut at 12 noon and 1pm, and ranger activities such as pond dipping, bush craft, orienteeri­ng and constructi­on derby, every day at 10.30am, 12 noon, 1.30pm and 3.30pm.

All of these activities are included in the price of the admission ticket.

Conkers is the awardwinni­ng attraction at the heart of the National Forest, based near Moira in Leicesters­hire.

It offers a unique mix of indoor and outdoor experience­s across 120 acres of maturing woodlands, lakes, ponds, play areas and an 18-stage assault course challenge. Indoors, a British Woodland has over 100 indoor interactiv­e exhibits in four seasonal zones or visitors can experience the Enchanted Forest, climbing through the treetops and along rope walkways.
