I fear for the royal family once the Queen is no longer around

-

I’M think we are lucky to have been blessed with such a dedicated monarch, who will go down in our history as the perhaps the best queen this country has had the good fortune to have.

Apart from Prince William, she is the only one I have a great respect for. He will, hopefully, one day succeed as our future monarch, as I have little or no faith in the rest of the royal family.

There doesn’t appear to be any long-term, genuine commitment from the other royals to honour their status and importance derived from just being part of the royal family, or in the sanctity of marriage.

If you consider Prince Charles, he was sadly missing the interpretation of “until death do us part” because he failed miserably, which didn’t set a good example for his sons and the rest of the royals.

I often wonder just what the Queen’s thoughts are regarding the future of the royals after the good Lord requests her to join him in his heavenly kingdom above.

If you have the love and respect for the Queen, you will sympathise for her in the situation she is now facing, not being able to change the status quo.

As a mother and our monarch, she must be so disappointed at some of the antics from some of her family, some of whom have treated marriage a little too casually.

Having said that, I would like to wish Prince Harry and his fiancée Meghan a long and happy life together, for I have thoughts they will be in need of some parental help.
