A chance to fawn over new arrival Duke

-

AN adorable new arrival was given a royal welcome at the award-winning conservation charity, Twycross Zoo, on a very special occasion this month.

The tufted deer was born on Saturday, May 19, the day of the Royal Wedding, and is the second offspring of mother, Fatima, and father, Mitch.

The male fawn, named Duke as a nod to its birth on the royal occasion, has captured the hearts of visitors and keepers alike, as well as stealing the show on the day of the royal nuptials!

Twycross Zoo is the only UK zoo breeding tufted deer, and one of only two collections keeping this species.

People have the chance to visit Twycross Zoo to see the new arrival and enjoy a fun-filled day out for all the family.

They can also meet more than 500 different animals at the awardwinning conservation charity and be one of the first to enjoy Chimpanzee Eden, a new immerse jungle habitat.
