The Phantom of the Opera performed by the Amateur Youth Group. Based on the classic novel Le Fantôme de l”Opéra by Gaston Leroux, The Phantom of the Opera tells the story of a masked figure who lurks beneath the catacombs of the Paris Opera House, exercising a reign of terror over all who inhabit it. He falls madly in love with an innocent young soprano, Christine, and devotes himself to creating a new star by nurturing her extraordin­ary talents and by employing all of the devious methods at his command.

July 1

Nuneaton Stagecoach presents Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Junior. Young performing arts students from Stagecoach Nuneaton to feature in Guinness World Record attempt at Concordia. They invite you to Be Their Guest as they participat­e in an attempt to set a new Guinness World Record for the largest simultaneo­us performanc­e of one show. Celebratin­g Stagecoach’s 30-year anniversar­y, the Nuneaton students will join up with schools nationwide and abroad to stage Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Junior performing simultaneo­usly at 6pm on Sunday 1st July 2018 September 4 to 8 New Theatre Players perform Other Desert Cities. This is a delightful comedy and poignant drama by Jon Robin Baitz. Brooke Wyeth returns home to Palm Springs after a six-year absence to celebrate Christmas with her parents, her brother, and her aunt. Brooke announces that she is about to publish a memoir dredging up a pivotal and tragic event in the family’s history—a wound they don’t want reopened. In effect, she draws a line in the sand and dares them all to cross it.

September 18 - 22

Rent the Musical is being performed as a Theatre Fundraisin­g Production. This iconic musical, which is loosely based on Puccini’s opera La Bohème, is set in the early 1990s and tells the story of one year in the life of roommates Mark and Roger and their friends, a group of bohemians, all facing the harsh poverty areas of New York City. While a former tragedy has made Roger numb to life, Mark tries to capture it through his attempts to make a film. In the year that follows, the group deals with love, loss, AIDS, and modern day life in one truly powerful story, where the main messages are friendship and loyalty.
