The innings wobbled a little when they slipped to 154 for 6 but a nice partnership of 50 for the 6th wicket pair of K Jussab and R Kelker left Hinckley on 204 for 6 after 45 overs. Jussab was 24 not out and Kelker 28 not out. Charity took 3 wickets for Sileby. When Sileby batted they struggled from the start particularly to the bowling of Uday Bapodra who in his 1st 4 overs bowled 4 maidens and took 2 wickets. Although opener Charity batted well he was out stomped by Kelker off the bowling of Khan when the score was 21 for 4. Some tight bowling from the Hinckley spinners reduced Sileby to 63 for 7. There was a slight fight back with a 7th wicket stand of 41 between Pullen and Chance taking the score on to 104. But then they lost their last 3 wickets for 4 runs giving the hosts a welcome victory. Khan took 3 wickets for Hinckley and there were 2 each for Sen, Valand and Bapodra. Hinckley gained 25 points to Silebys 3. Next week they host local rivals Earl Shilton.
