Rock and roll at civic venue

-

ROCK and roll is on the menu as Bedworth’s Civic Hall prepares for three nights of music from some of rock’s most famous singers.

Kicking-off the event will be The Story of the King, an outstanding musical production which brings to the stage the compelling story of the master of rock and roll himself, Elvis Presley.

The glittering twohour production charts the musical and emotional highs and lows of his amazing journey, from truck-driving teen to Las Vegas legend.

Catch the tribute to the King on Friday October 5.

Following this will be the Rock for Heroes event.

Taking the stage by storm on Saturday October 6 will be a combination of everyone’s favourite rock and pop artists from across the eras.

Among others, the sounds of Dire Straits, Status Quo, Queen, David Bowie and Bryan Adams will be played out to the crowd, which supports The Help for Heroes charity.

Labelled as the Champions of Rock, The Supreme Queen Concert Show completes the pro- gramme on Saturday October 13, with a celebration of one of the biggest bands to ever grace the stage.

A recreation of magic, fun and showmanship of the band’s touring days will complete the programme, which will be sure to get your feet tapping to Queen’s favourite numbers including I Want to Break Free, We are the champions and Bohemian Rhapsody.

All three shows start at 7.30pm, and tickets can be booked by calling the Box Office team on 024 7637 6707, or through the website at www.civichallinbedworth.co.uk.
