Halloween season at Twycross Zoo
THE Wicked Twycross Witch is returning to the Leicestershire-based Zoo in time for their Halloween Spooktacular.
A host of activities have been planned for this year’s season of spooking, including pumpkin carving competitions, spinetingling story time sessions, Halloween trails, eerie animal enrichment crafts and a spooky cinema.
Visitors to the event can pick up a scary treat from the Himalaya shop and tuck into some ghostly grub in the restaurant and café, before going on to explore the animal world and Twycross’s indoor and outdoor enclosures.
A variety of activities will be available from Saturday September 20, to Sunday November 4, and Twycross are also offering a discount of 10% off all advanced online book- ings.
Twycross Zoo members can enjoy the special event for free, or families can look to become a member from £45.
Becoming a member will give you a host of exclusive benefits and offers, as well as meaning that you are contributing to supporting endangered animals across the world and at Twycross.
The zoo is open to the public from 10am to 6pm, 364 days a year.
