Politics is all the poorer for the way politicians are behaving over Brexit

-

IN 1939, the Prime minister in waiting, Winston Churchill, was working on a plan to merge Britain and France into one nation. But (fortunately) events overtook him and the idea was scrapped. In 1940, the French tried to sell him a plan of surrender to Hitler which would have secured (for them) favourable terms at our expense, which despite opposition, Churchill rejected. History has not changed the French attitude of selfishness at others expense and they are still trying to trick us.

In 1942 the Reich economics minister, and president of the Reichsbank, Dr. Walter Funk, wrote a paper calling for the establishment of a European Union, identical to what we now have in the EU. This would have given (in his mind) legitimacy to the German conquest of Europe.

So, history tells us that we saved Europe from itself, and from German domination, only for the ideas to re emerge as some ploy to keep peace in Europe? But that was and is the job of NATO, which France overtly, and Germany subtly have tried to destroy over the years.

The European Commission is stuffed full of German cronies, doing the bidding of the Germans, who, having beaten the Irish into submission when they wanted to leave the EU, now patronise them, in a blatant attempt to destroy the UK, and thus its standing in the world.

The French President tells the world that the French would vote to leave the EU, given the chance but (he) won’t allow this to happen. All over Europe the people are of the same mind that this “political” experiment, which is no more than a carbon copy of the Soviet Union, is failing, and they need to get out!

And now we have the cry from the quisling politicians for a “peoples vote” intent on getting, this time, the result (they) want. (They) do not have the peoples’ interest at heart, else we would not be in this mess that they have proactively created. Let us remember, that if the vote had been about should we be joining the EU, with what we now know, it would have been a resounding NO!

The delusion they offer as a solution, is no different to that offered Churchill in 1940; had he accepted we would have been finished, and there was little hope of coming out the other end in one piece, whereas now, we have the chance of freedom. All we are told are scare stories, nothing about any benefits. People are being blackmailed into submission, and are fearful, for which politicians should hold their heads in shame.

(They) have done themselves no good in this debacle, and politics is all the poorer, as a consequence of their action, and like 1940, the result will be the same if we listen to them; German domination, and French hypocrisy, ruling over us. Get out NOW!
