Make it a night for Bella

- NICHOLAS DAWSON nicholas.dawson@reachplc.com

MOTHER of two, Ashleigh Astill from Hinckley, is hosting an event to raise funds for Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

Ashleigh’s youngest daughter, seven-month old Bella, was born with a cleft lip and palate, and has recently undergone her second of four operations at the hospital.

To give back to the staff who have provided care for her little family, Ashleigh wants to do all that she can to raise vital funds in which the hospital relies on.

“It is such an amazing hospital and they rely on charity donations to fund new life saving equipment, new research, the safety of the building in making sure it is secure and up to date and the children’s areas,” she says.

“The work and continued support they have given us so far has been amazing so I want to pay them back in the only way I can by fundraising for the hospital so that they can help other children and families like mine in the future.”

The event, A Night 4 Bella, is being sponsored by W.D. Roberts Tarmacadam Ltd and promises to be a huge party welcome to anybody who wishes to contribute to raising money for the staff and teams over at Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

The night will consist of singing and dancing thanks to a Disco from Hinckley-based ABC Sounds, as well as a face painter, sweet shop, free food and many more activities to keep the whole family entertained.

A raffle and auction will also be the highlight of the night, and anyone who wishes to donate to either of those or support the event in any way, is encouraged to contact Ashleigh at ashleiigh-louiise@hotmail. co.uk.

A Night 4 Bella will take place on Saturday November 3 from 7pm at Ashby Road Sports Club.

Tickets are now on sale and will cost £4 per adult, and £1 per child, under ones go free.

To purchase tickets contact Ashleigh via email or through the Facebook Page ‘A Night 4 Bella’.
