Festive day dinner menu on offer
FESTIVE diners looking for some Mediterranean inspiration are in for a treat.
I Due Vulcani in Hinckley’s The Crescent is putting on a five-course Christmas Dinner menu, serving burratina and parmigiana alongside more conventional classics such as baked camembert and roast turkey.
The festive flavours begin with a butternut squash or mushroom soup with truffle, then a choice of starters including burratina, baked camembert, a trio of bruschetta, bacon and pumpkin quiche tart, and tiger prawns.
For the main course, there will be the traditional roast turkey, aubergine parmigiana, sea bass, 10oz sirlion steak, and pappardelle agnello, a lamb dish.
Desserts will include Christmas Pudding, a cheese board, sticky toffee pudding with hazelnut ice cream, and lemon meringue cake.
The festivities will round off with a coffee and mince pie.
Diners will get a glass of prosecco on arrival. The menu is £59.95 per person and £29.95 for children under 12.
A non-refundable deposit of £30 per person is required upon booking. Drinks are not included in the price. The meal will be served on Christmas Day from noon to 5pm.
Pre-orders must be made by December 18.
