-

A SWIMMING teacher was voted teacher of the term for her work with baby and pre-school paddlers.

Rebecca Pridmore was nominated Puddle Ducks National Teacher of the Term for the second time.

She has taught in South Leicestershire and Derbyshire since September 2014 and gives lessons at the Romans Health Spa at Hinckley Island Hotel.

One happy customer said in their nomination: “Rebecca is an amazing swimming teacher.

“She is attentive to the children and knows them all very well - what they like and dislike.

“She reassures parents and children brilliantly and never makes any parent or child do anything they don’t want to.

“She even inspires me to become a baby/toddler/child swim teacher one day.”

Rebecca said about her achievement: “I would love to thank each and every one of my little swimmers and their fami- lies for their continued support.

“Children are at the centre of everything we do, and I love being able to provide a fantastic experience to suit every child’s needs, whether they start off confident in the water, or not.

“I am overwhelmed to have been chosen as the National Teacher of the Term once again.

“I never thought I would ever be considered for the award, let alone win it, twice.

“Becoming a swimming teacher with Puddle Ducks was one of the best decisions I ever made.

“I feel like it is a hobby, not my job.”
