UN should be sorted out next

ANGELA Merkel, the German Chancellor, not only allowed over a million economic migrants into Germany, she instructed that the authorities did no checks to see who they were, or where they were from?

This was a flagrant breach of EU rules. Then having giving them German passports, they were free to wonder around Europe, some with catastrophic consequences.

She is now saying, with the backing of her cronies in the European Commission, that Europe must now take the majority of these migrants into their countries, and if they don’t, sanctions from the EU will follow?

Italy has said that 98 % of illegal migrants in their country will have to be sent back home, but the EU has told them they will not allow this, and again are threatening action if Italy follows through?

Therefore, what is all the panic about us not being able to live in Europe, get jobs, and our holidays are in jeopardy; surely we have more to contribute than an unskilled illegal migrant, and what happened to equality? Why are Brits being told one thing and the EU fights for another with regard to illegal migrants?

Why should an unelected bunch of (Merkel) cronies, unaccountable to any countries electorate, dictate an agenda for migration, for which they will have no responsibility, and no financial liability? Because Italy has closed its ports to “charitable” organisations’ ships, hoovering up migrants and dumping them in Italy, with no thought of what happens then, and who pays; illegal economic migrants in north Africa, are being forced to go home.

The UN and the EU have condemned this as a crime against humanity? To me it is common sense, as you can’t get the population of Africa into Europe!

The EU makes the case, far better than I ever could, why we need to get out, and the UN should be the next organisation we sort out! Steve Vickers
